It is vital during this time when face-to-face meetings may have been suspended that members remember that the finances of both the Groups, Areas and the NZAGSO need ongoing financial support to keep serving the fellowship

  • Unable to meet in person
  • Reach out to each other via email, phone, text, other media to ensure all members are supported.
  • Donations can be received via electronic means to your group/Area.
  • It is the Groups responsibility to let their members and NZAGSO know how they are meeting.
  • Send through details to NZAGSO of electronic meetings email office@al-anon.org.nz.
  • Look on the NZ website for electronic meetings.
  • Be aware that the National Toll Free number (0508 4 AL-ANON 425 266) for Meeting information will be answered at all levels.
  • Members can contact their GR or Area Delegate for assistance.
  • NZAGSO Office at 78 Pitt St, Auckland is closed.
  • No mail will be collected.
  • Office Manager is working remotely regular NZAGSO hours – Tues, Wed, Thurs 10am-3.30pm.

  • Toll-free office number 0508 692 476 is diverted to the Office Manager.
  • Literature orders will be processed in Level 3.
  • Mail will be collected at Level 3.

  • Follow your venue’s instruction on opening.
  • If meeting face-to-face ensure you follow the contact tracing protocol at the venue.
  • Use required distancing requirements, mask wearing and hygiene procedures.
  • Group’s responsibility to let the NZAGSO know how they are meeting.
  • Donations can be received via electronic means to your group.
  • If unable to meet in person keep in contact with members.
  • Consider a hybrid meeting that has face-to-face and phone or electronic means.
  • Be aware that the National Toll Free number(0508 4 AL-ANON 426 266) for Meeting information will be answered at all levels.
  • Mail will be collected and processed.
  • Limited volunteers in office at one time.
  • Office is closed to visitors.
  • Literature orders will be processed as normal and contactless pick up can be arranged by calling ahead to organise suitable time.
