Annual AA Convention with Al-Anon & Alateen Participation

2027 AA Convention Important Update:

The AA Board and Conference have agreed that the 2027 National AA Convention, planned for Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington in January 2027, will not be going ahead. While this is disappointing, the decision was made carefully after looking at a range of practical and financial factors. National Conventions remain a valued part of fellowship life in Aotearoa, New Zealand, bringing fellows together in connection and service from AA, Al-Anon Family Groups and Alateen. On a positive note, an invitation to host the 2028 National Convention has now been received, and we look forward to discussing this further at our Board meeting in June.
