To become an AMIAS there is an application process.
The links below are the form to become an AMIAS, this is also used for the annual renewal; the second is the Request for a New Zealand Police Vetting and Consent required for all new approvals of AMIAS. Please read the instructions on the back of the above AMIAS approval form how to complete them, the subsequent processes and where to send each form.
